What can you expect in terms of lifespan from gold filled stuff?
First, do your part.
- The number one issue is: water. Do NOT shower with your jewelry. It's a pain to remove necklaces or bracelets before dipping, but if you want to retain that bright, vibrant color we're so proud our pieces have, do just that.
- Leaving them out in the open for months on end will affect the color. Put them in your box!
- Sterling silver will tarnish eventually. Silver polish is your solution.
